Austin Carter Memorial Lap Information:
A memorial lap in memory of Austin Carter #765 will take place on Saturday, October 26.
Registered riders on Saturday October 26 are invited to participate in a memorial lap around Hangtime MX Park. (You must be a registered rider on 10/26 to ride in the memorial lap.) You do not need to fill out any additional information at registration, when you sign up to ride you are automatically eligible to be in the parade lap.
Please keep in mind, if you no longer ride/race, are injured, etc, you are still a part of honoring Austin by coming out and witnessing the lap in celebration of his memory and spending the day at the track, a place Austin loved!
The memorial lap will take place immediately following the last practice session on Saturday 10/26.
We will stage you in groups - so please be listening for PA announcements (broadcast channel 88.5 FM). When the parade lap begins, each group will be separated by a Reads Racing Staff Member. You are not allowed to pass the Staff Member leading your group.
Riders will exit the track behind their group leader and proceed up the drive to the registration area where we will do one last Rev. (Machines must have a clutch to participate in the Rev)
You do not have to be a registered rider to participate in the final rev, be at registration area before the end of the parade lap to participate. (machine must have a clutch)
50CC & BEGINNER YOUTH RIDER PARTICIPANTS - Parents are not allowed on the track during this parade lap. Riders need to be of a skill level to slowly ride with a group.
