| The Johnson's, Dale, Stacy, Levi
and Madison Johnson were awarded the Larry and Joyce Memorial
Award at the 2009 Reads Racing Awards Banquet held February
27, 2010 in Nappanee, IN. |
| The award was very to pick, "almost
a no-brainer" said Mikey Klinger of Reads Racing. They
have offered rides not only to other riders in need but riders
who raced against their own team. And on multiple occasions.
Stacy is a bundle of nerves when the kids are on the track,
but has accepted the fear and is beginning to enjoy it more
and more without worry. Dale is to humble to brag on his kids
much. It's not hard to notice his pride though when you see
him look at his kids after a moto. Their kids, both Levi and
Madison Johnson have become some very good riders and are well
liked by all the riders. |

I wanted you to know how amazed
and honored we are to have received the
award in memory of your parents. We didn't have the pleasure
of meeting them but have heard nothing but wonderful things.
Dale and I think so much of you and your
family and feel as though we are part of your racing family.
Again, we are truely honored to have received this pretigious
award. It brought
tears to my eyes on my way home. I also thank you for thinking
enough of our family to deserve something so special. We appreciate
all of the hard work you and your family put in to making sure
the tracks are safe for everyone and enjoy the fact that it's
so family oriented. |
